For the purpose of standardizing the management of chemical testing institutes, further improving the operational practice and achieving the international mutual recognition of test data, MEP promulgated the Measures for the Administration of Chemical Testing Good Laboratory Practices(hereinafter referred to as the Measures).
The Measures has come into force since 1 April 2012, which covers the application and management of the chemical testing good laboratories providing test data for new chemical substance notification and other activities under environmental management. The Measures is released with other supporting documents, such as the application form of Chemical Testing Good Laboratory, the resume and basic information of testing personnel, etc.
The Chemical Testing Good Laboratory refers to the lab operating in conformance to the Guidelines of Chemical Testing Good Laboratory Practice(GLP) and approved by MEP to provide test data for chemical environmental management. The GLP Guidelines is now under revision, after soliciting public consultation from 3 May 2012 to 30 May 2012, the final version will come out soon and will replace the original version of HJ/T155-2004.
