22 Oct 2014: Deadline for Korea New Chemical Registration under TCCA

1. New chemical registration dossiers under TCCA should be submitted to NIER before 22 Oct.
2. New chemical substances that fail to complete registration under TCCA should comply with K-REACH from 1 Jan 2015.

Korea MoE issued a notice on 7 Oct officially setting the deadline for new chemical registration dossier submission. In consideration of the fact that the processing period for new chemical registration under TCCA is 60 days, Korea MoE requires completed dossier to be submitted before 22 Oct in order to give NIER enough time to complete dossier review work before K-REACH kicks in on 1 Jan 2015.
