China’s Local Governments Intensifying Catalogue-based Regulation of Hazardous Chemicals
May 16, 2019
On April 2, 2019, the Department of Emergency Management of Shandong Province released the Catalogue of Prohibited Hazardous Chemicals of Shandong Province (Tranche 1) [1], specifying that 44 categories of hazardous chemicals will be prohibited within its jurisdiction. The Catalogue will be effective until April 1, 2022.

China MOFCOM Reinstates Anti-dumping Measures on Resorcinol Imported from Japan and the US

1.Starting on March 23, 2019 China MOFCOM reinstated anti-dumping measures on resorcinol imported from Japan and the United States which will run for five years. 2.The anti-dumping tax rate is 40.5% for Japanese companies and 30.1% for American companies.
