On April 13, 2019, the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) issued a notice [1], announcing the cancellation of 15 certification procedures stipulated in government department regulations and 4 in normative documents. This is part of the Cut Certification to Create Convenience reform initiative, aiming to unburden business of superfluous bureaucratic red tape.
Among the removed procedures which were previously required by government department regulations, 13 are related to chemical businesses. See the table below for details.
