China's National Certification and Accreditation Administration has announced to adjust the applicable testing method standards for conformity assessment on China RoHS 2. The decision was made to align with international standards and facilitate trade in services.
Specifically, the existing GB/T 26125-2011 Electrical and Electronic Products- Determination of Six Regulated Substances (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls, Polybrominated) will be replaced by the GB/T 39560 series as follows:

The implementation of GB/T 39560 series is scheduled as follows:
From March 1, 2024, conformity assessment for restriction and use of electrical and electronic products shall be tested in accordance with GB/T 39560 series;
For those who have completed conformity assessment before March 1, 2024, certificate renewal or product changes may be applied to achieve the transition to new standards;
In case the products have been manufactured or imported before March 1, 2024, the new standards shall not apply.
