To enhance the supervision of imported and exported commodities and protect consumer interests, China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) will conduct random inspections on imported and exported commodities which are not subject to the statutory inspection according to the Law on Import and Export Commodity Inspection.
From this April to October, commodities listed in Table 1 will be subject to spot checks by local CIQ authorities at the import/export ports, markets, collecting and distributing center and places where they’re manufactured or used.
