China to Launch Procedures for IECSC Inclusion

The new chemical substances notified under SEPA Order 17 (known as the 2003 version of Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances, now replaced by MEP Order 7 in 2010) have a chance of being included in the IECSC. According to the MEP Notice 123 of 2010, the certificate holder is required to submit the actual activity report to the CRC-MEP within one month after the 5th year since the first date of actual manufacturing or import activity. However, the actual inclusion application will require more information and materials of proof.

With more and more new chemical substances qualified waiting to be listed into IECSC, CRC-MEP has expedited its working on the IECSC inclusion procedures. The relevant procedures and forms are expected to be published soon. The form attached below is for reference only and the official version is subject to change.

The official version is not released yet, please contact us if the detailed information is of your concern.
