China Steps Up Efforts in Source Control over Toxic and Hazardous Chemicals

The Chinese General Office of the State Council officially released the approved Action Plan for New Pollutants Treatment (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), according to Notice No.15 of 2022¹ issued on May 24, 2022, which vows to improve the China’s new pollutants treatment capacity significantly by 2025. The Plan was drafted to solicit public comments in October of 2021, which had attracted widespread attention from the industry (CL news).
