Chinese Acetone National Standard

On Aug 1st, Standardization Administration of China (SAC) approved and issued the new National Standard on Acetone for Industrial Use (GB/T 6026-2013).

The concentration limit of benzene in acetone is newly added into the latest standard. It also contains stricter and more detailed requirements on acetone quality. Under the new standard downstream industries are expected to receive acetone in better condition.  Acetone suppliers should change their production lines to comply with the new standard.
