Updated on 30 Apr, LR (lead registrants) election has been completed for 343 priority existing chemical substances (PECs) under Korea REACH (K-REACH). No PEC completed the election process in April of 2018. Only one PEC (CAS No. 75-15-0) that finished LR election in Oct of 2016 was deleted since the elected LR has opted out.

In addition, so far joint registration dossiers of 211 PECs have been submitted to the authority, of which 40 have been approved and issued with registration number. The others are still under review now (click here to download the list).
The deadline for registering 510 PECs will remain as 30 Jun 2018 although the amended K-REACH will introduce a new registration mechanism from 1 Jan 2019 (CL news). Companies are encouraged to meet the June registration deadline.
