Global Chemical Regulation Highlights | November 2025

In November of 2025, China reinforced control on the export of certain precursor chemicals. Taiwan unveiled new registration framework for priority existing chemical substances. South Korea updated the list of restricted chemicals. Japan proposed to expand scope of substances requiring label and SDS under the ISHL. Australia proposed IChEMS scheduling decisions for 10 groups of industrial chemicals. The EU proposed to add Chlorpyrifos, MCCPs, and C9-21 PFCAs under POPs Regulation. The U.S. proposed exemptions to PFAS reporting rule.
