India Consults on Draft Chemical Standards


The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) published 8 draft new standards and 4 draft revised standards for chemical substances used in plastics, resins, moulding and extrusion materials in April 2022 for comments.

The standards prescribe requirements, methods of sampling and testing for these substances. Details can be accessed below:
