On December 29, 2025, India's Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) announced an Order which exempts the imports of specialized copper products for use in various sectors. The exemption is granted for a period of one year from the date of publication of this Order (i.e. 2026.12.29).
