Japan Issues Draft Amendments to CSCL Enforcement Guidelines

On August 20, 2025, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of the Environment jointly launched a public comment procedure on the draft amendment to the “Guidelines for the Enforcement of the Act on the Evaluation of Chemical Substances and Regulation of Their Manufacture, etc.” The public comment period is open until September 18, 2025.
