Korea Clarifies Exemption Conditions for Obligations under Chemical Control Act

The revised K-CCA Enforcement Decree assists in imposing differentiated management measures on hazardous substances, and optimizing control measures for prohibited substances, restricted substances, and substances subject to authorization, etc. under the K-CCA.

On August 5, 2025, by Ordinance No. 35696, South Korea’s Ministry of Environment (MoE) adopted the partial revision to the Enforcement Decree of the Chemical Control Act (a.k.a. K-CCA Enforcement Decree). New provision will take effect on August 7, 2025.
