Korea Notifies WTO of Proposed Enforcement Rules Focusing on OR Transferring under K-REACH

South Korea proposes amendments to the K-REACH Enforcement Rules to add formal procedures for mediating joint registration disputes, allowing deferral of data submission when data access is blocked, and clarifying reporting requirements for succession of Only Representatives, with entry into force on May 12, 2026.

On February 13, 2026, South Korea's Ministry of Climate and Energy Environment (MCEE) notified the WTO of the Draft Partial Amendment of the Enforcement Rules of the Act on Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances, seeking worldwide feedback by May 12, 2026.
