MEM Notice on Enabling the New Version of Safety Production Permit

On February 12, the China Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) issued a notice ^[1] announcing the implementation of a new version of the safety production permit. The new permit is redesigned from the Safety Production Permit enabled by the State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) issued in 2004. It is applicable to non-coal mining enterprises, and hazardous chemicals and fireworks manufacturers.
