Revised K-REACH Enforcement Decree Expands Scope for Information Disclosure

Specific criteria for acute hazardous substances to human health, chronic hazardous substances to human health, and ecological hazardous substances are clarified.
The usage of chemical, registration type, classification and labeling information shall also be disclosed even when CBI protection is requested under K-REACH.
On August 5, 2025, by Ordinance No. 35695, South Korea’s Ministry of Environment (MoE) adopted the partial revision to the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Registration and Evaluation, Etc. of Chemicals (a.k.a. K-REACH Enforcement Decree). Most of the revised provisions will take effect on August 7, 2025.
