Taiwan Puts Existing Substance Inventory Online

2 May 2012, draft information of Taiwan’s Existing Chemical Substance Inventory has been made available on the website of Chemical Substance Nomination & Notification (CSNN) set up by the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA), Taiwan Executive Yuan. The CSNN web also published an online tool for Taiwan’s chemical industry to submit supplementary nominations of existing chemical substances.

Taiwan completed the draft existing chemical substance inventory by April this year. In order to keep the inventory up to date, Taiwan CLA plans to reopen the nomination for supplementary existing chemical substances from 1 June to 31 August 2012. New substances which are not listed in the Existing Chemical Substance Inventory need to be registered with the Taiwan CLA.
