Web Address Changed for Thailand Existing Chemicals Inventory

Since Thailand DIW issued the preliminary inventory of existing chemical substances in August, the most frustrating problem that industry has encountered was that the website of the preliminary inventory was non-functional almost all the time. 8 of 10 times when people wanted to check if their chemicals were listed in the preliminary inventory they were frustrated by an error message that looked like this (http://haz5.diw.go.th:8282/ ):

ChemLinked has discussed with DIW about this problem and was told that it was due to some glitch in DIW’s internal internet server. The website is now ok after DIW moved it to an external server.

ChemLinked is happy to let all our clients know that the website is working fine under a new web address: http://haz3.diw.go.th/invhaz/ :

Enterprises can search their chemicals by CAS number or tradename. ChemLinked would like to urge enterprises whose chemicals are not included to start nominating chemicals as soon as possible to avoid further regulatory duties. The 1^st stage nomination deadline is the end of this year.
