China MOFCOM Reinstates Anti-dumping Measures on Resorcinol Imported from Japan and the US
1.Starting on March 23, 2019 China MOFCOM reinstated anti-dumping measures on resorcinol imported from Japan and the United States which will run for five years. 2.The anti-dumping tax rate is 40.5% for Japanese companies and 30.1% for American companies.

On April 13, 2019, the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) issued a notice [1], announcing the cancellation of 15 certification procedures stipulated in government department regulations and 4 in normative documents. This is part of the Cut Certification to Create Convenience reform initiative, aiming to unburden business of superfluous bureaucratic red tape.

15 substances (given number 237~251) were designated on Apr 1st as “priority assessment chemicals” (PACs) under the Chemical Substance Control Law (CSCL) according to Japan’s Gazette[1]. This brings the total number of PACs to 223 (some deleted or grouped under one single entry in the past years).
