China New Chemical Registration Transitional Provisions: Key Corporate Compliance Points Explained in One Go

The Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the "Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (Draft for Comments)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft Revision") in June 2026. On July 1, 2026, the MEE notified WTO of this Draft Revision for worldwide comments. It is not a partial patch to the current MEE Order No.12, but a systematic adjustment centering on applicants, registration types, record notification migration, post-registration responsibilities, and the inventory inclusion mechanism.
