China Updates OELs Standard for Hazardous Agents in Workplace

On November 28, the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (NHC) released a notice to amend GBZ 2.1-2019 Occupational Exposure Limits for Hazardous Agents in the Workplace Part 1: Chemical Hazardous Agents. The amendment takes effect the same day it was released.

China Legislates on Dust Explosion Protection for Industry and Trade Enterprises

On August 2nd, 2021, the China Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) issued its Order No.6 to publish the Safety Regulations on Dust Explosion Protection for Industry and Trade Enterprises. The Regulations are formulated in accordance with the newly issued Work Safety Law and will enter into effect on September 1st, 2021, simultaneously with the Law.
