China MEP issued on its website on 21 May the 3rd batch of China new chemical substance notifications to be approved in 2013. If no dissenting opinions are raised until 23 May, the registration certificates will be formally issued for five new chemical substances.
Of the five substances, two are notified under serial notification as general substances. The other three substances are notified under regular notification procedures, of which two are hazardous and one is hazardous of priority environmental concern.
Apart from the new chemical substance notifications, China MEP also consults on the modification of the certificate holder’s name on three registration certificates owned by Suzhou ABA Chemicals Co., Ltd. If no objections are submitted, the ABA Chemicals Corporation will be the new certificate holder.
