On 15 Apr 2016, China MEP issued the third batch of China new chemical substance notifications (China NCSN) to be approved in 2016 for public consultation until 17 Apr 2016. In this batch, eight notifications are to be approved (Table 1), of which seven are regular notifications, and the other one is joint re-notification for increased tonnage band. In addition, MEP also consults on the modification of notified amount on two registration certificate (Table 2). If no objections are submitted, the new chemical notifications and modification applications will be approved. The detailed information is attached as below.
