According to a recent announcement by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA), several administrative rules for CCC marks are modified to further facilitate enterprises subject to China Compulsory Certification. As of Jan 1st, 2015, changes in the following aspects will take effect:
1. Adjustment of the approval validity period for Printings CCC Labels
CCC certification holders can either purchase the ready-made self-adhesive CCC mark labels from CNCA or apply to authorized printing houses to print their own CCC mark labels. To print their own labels, Approval for Printing/ Compression Molding Labels of CCC Products (in short as “Approval for Printing CCC Labels”) will be required.
The validity period of the approval will be adjusted to conform to that of the CCC Certificate. The old Approvals issued before Oct 24, 2014 will stay valid for only 1 year. Companies can now apply to CCC Mark Management Center to change their old valid approvals to new ones.
2. Recycling excess CCC labels
If certified enterprises have more CCC labels than needed, they can return the standard labels (see Analysis) to the CCC Mark Management Center and avail of the refund policy.
3. New design of official stamp for Approval for Printing CCC Labels
