Global Chemical Regulation Highlights | July 2025

In July of 2025, China made public the content of GB 30000.30-2025 Rules for classification and labelling of chemicals - Part 30: Desensitized explosives. South Korea proposed updates to several important chemical inventories. Japan solicited comments on the proposed revisions to JIS Z 7252 and JIS Z 7253. Thailand issued the List of Hazardous Substances (No.8). Singapore introduced mandatory chemical reporting framework to monitor chemicals that are imported or manufactured but not currently regulated. Australia updated inventory terms of 2,297 chemicals for SIR compliance under AICIS. UK proposed extensions for transitional registration submission deadlines under UK REACH.
