According to Notice II2, the term of the AIIC listing for a chemical, which had been varied as Oils, Callitris columellaris (CAS No. 192526-11-7) from October 15, 2021, has now been restored to be consistent with the CAS number and chemical name for Oils, Callitris intratropica (CAS No. 187348-13-6) on July 13, 2022. Here’s a table to facilitate your understanding.

Chemicals that are listed in the AIIC can be introduced by any registered introducers (importers or manufactures). According to the IC Act 2019, introducers shall apply for the registration before introducing an industrial chemical to Australia during a registration year (goes from September 1 to August 31). Penalties apply if a person introduces an industrial chemical without registration. For chemicals not listed in AIIC, introducers shall apply to the Executive Director for an assessment certificate for the introduction of such industrial chemicals.
