MEP Publishes 3rd Batch of China REACH SR Records

China MEP Publishes Statistics of Scientific Research Record from July to September 2011

The status of scientific research record (SR) under China New Chemical Substance Notification (China REACH) from July to September 2011 has been published on 19 December 2011 on the website of Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP SR announcement no 3).

The MEP statistics show that in total 287 entries covering 451 substances have completed the obligation of scientific research record from July to September this year under China MEP Order No 7. A majority of the submitting companies are non-Chinese enterprises and joint ventures in China.

Previously, China MEP released in September 2011 the 2nd batch of SR records, which contains 225 entries and 306 substances for the period from April to June 2011. The 1st batch of SR records released by MEP in April this year contains 225 entries and 371 substances for the period from November 2010 to March 2011.
