The Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) of Australia's Department of Health and Aged Care recently announced the eighth version of the downloadable spreadsheet of the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC). It includes 39,818 industrial chemicals listed on AIIC as of January 9, 2026.
Please note that this spreadsheet is provided for convenience only and is not complete. It doesn’t include:
Chemicals that cannot be disclosed to the public for CBI protection;
URL links to the assessment and evaluation statements.
Details in the spreadsheet include CAS No., CAS name, molecular formula, defined scope of assessment, conditions of introduction or use, etc. It also includes more information about specific information requirements (SIR). This new spreadsheet of AIIC can be downloaded here.
The downloadable spreadsheet will be regularly updated twice a year. For the most up-to-date inventory updates, you can refer to AIIC Updates in 2026 at ChemLinked.
Therefore, it should not be relied on for the latest information. Manufacturers and importers, who want to accurately check if the chemical is listed on AIIC and what terms of its listing are, are recommended to search via the official online system (AICIS website).
