South Korea Consults on 54 Substances into Existing Chemical Substance Inventory

Published on 18 Dec 2017 by MoE Notice No. 2017-809, South Korea's Ministry of Environment (MoE) is now consulting on 54 non-toxic chemical substances (Given No. 2017-3-7206 ~ 2017-3-7259).

These substances have finished new chemical notification under the previous Toxic Chemical Control Act (TCCA, the processor of K-REACH and CCA) during 1 Jul 2014 and 31 Dec 2014. They were assessed as non-toxic and as customary can be added to South Korea's Existing Chemical Substance Inventory (KECI) three years after the assessment result was delivered to the original applicant.
