Taiwan Consults on Amendments to GHS Labeling and Hazard Communication Regulation

On May 7, 2026, Taiwan's Ministry of Labor (MoL) issued the draft amendments of the Regulations for the Labeling and Hazard Communication of Hazardous Chemicals (hereafter referred to as the "Regulation"). The proposal aims to update partial articles and Appendices 1, 3, and 4 of the Regulation to align with UN GHS Rev. 8 and the updated CNS 15030 serial standards for Classification and Labeling of Chemicals in Taiwan. The draft proposal is currently undergoing a 60-day public consultation.
