Taiwan to Designate Second Batch of 9 PECs with a Revamped Registration Framework

On May 21, 2026, the Chemicals Administration of Taiwan's Ministry of Environment (MOENV) held a seminar to unveil plans for designating nine priority existing chemical substances (PECs) subject to the second phase of PECs registration under Taiwan REACH. The seminar also outlined the detailed designation criteria and future management frameworks.
