Thailand Made 2 Changes to Hazardous Substances List

On Oct 6th 2017, a Thailand government gazette was issued outlining 2 minor changes to the List of Hazardous Substances.

The first change is made to a term in the original List of Hazardous Substances published in 2013. The number 66 in List 5.1 “Glucidol or 2,3-epoxy-1-propanol” is changed to “Glycine (glycidol) or 2,3-epoxy-1-propanol”. The CAS number is 556-52-55 and it is classified as a Type 2 hazardous substance.

The second change is about a typo in a revision to the List of Hazardous Substances made in late 2016. Number 492 in the revision is changed to “HFC-338mee”. It was one of the eight substances that were added into List 5.1.

The List of Hazardous Substances in Thailand is under constantly revision. ChemLinked will keep close attention to the future updates.
