Turkish Biocidal Products Regulation: Inventory Notification Deadline Approaching

For biocidal products whose Product Types are 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22 and 23 under Turkish Biocidal Products Regulation (Turkish BPR), the Inventory Notification should be submitted to the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Turkey by January 1, 2018. Biocidal products, which are submitted and approved are subsequently listed in the "Inventory Notification Approved Products List". These products will be available on the Turkish market until January 1, 2020 provided a notifier has already made a provisional application between January 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

On December 31, 2009, Turkish BPR was published. The regulation number is 27449. On March 12, 2014, Turkish BPR was assigned the number 28939. The product types of Turkish BPR Number 28939 has been prepared in parallel with EU BPD and EU BPR (Regulation (EU) 528/2012).  Biocidal product types 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22 and 23 required to be notified by the deadline mentioned are listed in table 1 below:
