As per the Notice, there are two major factors in the determination that whether the mixtures are can be imported, exported, transited or transferred through the Waigaoqiao Port Area: 1) Full (100%) ingredients disclosure on SDS or not; 2) Three indicators-'Acute Toxicity, Cat. 1', 'Acute Aquatic Toxicity, Cat. 1' and 'Chronic Aquatic Toxicity, Cat. 1'.

Thailand DIW Consults on Adding PFOA, Its salts, and PFOA-related Compounds to the List of Hazardous Substances
On February 9, 2022, Thailand’s Department of Industrial Works (DIW) issued a notice to solicit public comments on adding PFOA, its salts, and PFOA-related compounds (eight substances) to the Annex 5.1 of the List of Hazardous Substances. In addition, they will be classified as Type 3 and Type 4 substances due to specific conditions. The consultation will due on February 25, 2022.

Thailand FDA to Update Label Requirements for Hazardous Chemicals
On December 14, 2021, Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health notified WTO of the draft amendments on the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Labels of Hazardous Substances Responsible for the Food and Drug Administration B.E. 2558 (2015). As proposed, the signal word (danger/warnings) will be a mandatory label element for small containers.
