On September 6, 2021, South Korea urges enterprises involved with the first group of existing biocidal active substances to speed up the data preparation and submission for approval under the K-BPR. Companies need to complete pre-registration of Group 1 existing biocidal active substances and submit the approval application plan by September 30, 2021, and submit the dossier for final approval by October 31, 2021.

China Receives Conformity Assessments for 18,420 Products under China RoHS 2

As of the end of July 2021, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) had received 12,369 conformity assessments submitted on its RoHS public service platform from 1,140 companies, involving 18,420 products, an increase of 2,555 since last December.

Nanjing Released 2021 VOC Product Quality Supervision and Sampling Implementation Rules

Nanjing Market Supervision Administration will organize a VOC product (cleaning agents) quality supervision and sampling[1] in the following months. The implementation rules were made public on August 10, 2021. The deadline for sampling is October 30, 2021, and the deadline for inspection is December 1, 2021. The sampling quality analysis report shall be completed by December 10, 2021.
