China Notifies WTO of 7 New Mandatory National Standards on Dangerous Goods Road Transport

China’s Ministry of Transport has launched a public consultation on a new series of seven mandatory national standards for the road transport of dangerous goods, which will upgrade existing rules (JT/T 617), align with ADR 2025, and significantly tighten compliance obligations across the chemical supply chain.
