China's Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center (SCC under MEP) has issued a notice reminding certificate holders of simplified notification and regular notification (hazardous new chemical substance and hazardous new chemical substances of priority environmental concern) to submit annual reports for their 2017 production and import activities of new chemical substances.
The online submission system will open on 1 Jan 2018. The annual report should be prepared and submitted using the software by 1 Feb 2018. A resubmission is needed if the certificate holder wants to revise or supplement the submitted annual report. Certificate holders failing to submit the annual report in time will be listed publically and are subject to a fine of RMB 10,000.
