List of K-REACH Lead Registrants Published for 302 PECs

The K-REACH Task Force updated on 28 Feb 2017 a list of lead registrants (LRs) for 302 priority existing chemical substances (PECs), of which 17 PECs newly completed the election process. The LR election results were published with the name of LR in Korean, chemical name in English, CAS No. and the date of LR determination. The whole list is accessible here.

South Korea’s MoE designated 510 PECs subject to K-REACH joint registration in July 2015. The registration deadline is 30 Jun 2018. So far 302 PECs have finished their LR election. There are still 208 PECs requiring LR election.

Considering the time required during consortium communication, data gap analysis, data purchasing, generating testing data, etc., potential registrants should join the Chemical Substance Information Communicative Organization (CICO, similar to SIEF) and finish LR election as soon as possible.
