24 priority existing chemical substances (PECs) subject to joint registration under the Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals (K-REACH) recently finished their Lead Registrant (LR) election. The corresponding LR election results were published on 29 Jul of 2016.
This is the 7th round of LR election. In addition to the new publication of LR election results for 24 PECs, six PECs that previously finished LR election in the previous rounds were deleted since their corresponding LRs chose to opt out. The details are specified as below.

The previous rounds of LR election are reported as below.
So far 239 PECs have finished their LR election (the list is accessible here). However, there are still 271 PECs requiring LR election (In total 510 PECs). The registration deadline for the first batch of 510 PECs is 30 Jun 2018. Stakeholders should join the Chemical Substance Information Communicative Organization (CICO, similar to SIEF) and finish LR election as soon as possible.
