On December 22, 2021, Malaysia’s Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) published a notice to seek public feedback on the amendments to the schedule of substances prohibited to use according to the Occupational Safety and Health (Prohibition of Use of Substances) Order (Amendment 202X) under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994. The consultation started on December 24, 2021 and will end on February 24, 2022.
The schedule of Amendment 202X updates the information on the prohibited carcinogenic substances, such as descriptions and the CAS number, and adds some new substances.
