South Korea’s National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) issued NIER Announcement No.2016-18 on 30 Sep 2016, making public the results of hazard evaluation of 178 new substances (given number as 2016-418~2016-595) registered under K-REACH. In addition, the hazard properties and classification details of one new substance previously published as No.2016-414 was supplemented.
The updates were previously issued by NIER Notice 2016-265 on 24 Aug 2016 for public comments until 12 Sep 2016 (CL news). No changes were made in the final version.
These substances were issued with English chemical name, CAS No., corresponding hazard, classification and labeling information, as well as the determination of whether it is classified as toxic chemical.
