Taiwan requires administrative fees for new and existing chemical registration. The fees for dossier review, registration certificate extension & modification, etc. are specified in the “Standard on Toxic Chemical Substances Handling Application Fee and Chemical Registration Fee”, which was published on 8 Dec 2014 and came into force immediately.
The draft of this regulation was issued for public consultation on 25 Aug 2014 (See ChemLinked News). Compared to the draft, no major changes are made. SMEs will still be granted a 25% reduction in the dossier review fee. The EPA has reduced the fee for issuance of certificates from NT$500 to NT$200. The administrative fees for new and existing chemical registration are specified in the table 1 below.
