U.S. Senator Reintroduces Comprehensive Bill to Phase out All Non-Essential PFAS Within 10 Years
On March 19, 2026, Representative Betty McCollum (D-MN) and Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) reintroduced the Forever Chemical Regulation and Accountability Act (H.R. 8016, S. 4153). The Act outlines a comprehensive framework to phase out non-essential PFAS uses, mitigate contamination, and ensure accountability for PFAS-related harms.
