China MEE Issues the Measures on the Management of Carbon Emission Trade (Trial)

The National Carbon Emission Registration Institution and the National Carbon Emission Trading Institution and correspond systems will be established by MEE. The recognition of key emission units is also specified in the Measures.

China MEE Issues 3 National Standards for Pollution Control of Solid Waste

3 mandatory national standards which are respectively for non-hazardous industrial waste, hazardous waste, and medical waste, were unveiled by MEE. They are scheduled to enter into force on July 1st, 2021.

South Korea Trials IT System for MSDS Submission and CBI Non-disclosure Application

MSDS submission and CBI non-disclosure approval through the KOSHA IT system is mandatory before manufacture or import, which will take effect on Jan 16, 2021.Overseas manufacturers are allowed to appoint an only representative (OR) based in Korea to comply with the obligations.
