Published on 4 Apr 2018 by NIER Notice No.2018-84, South Korea’s National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) is now consulting on the updates to the GHS Classification List.
9 toxic substances (Given No. 2018-1-833~841) will be newly added into the list with classification information, pictograms, hazard statements, M factors or UN No., etc. In addition, for 22 toxic substances added into the list in Feb of 2018, their given No. 2017-1-811~2017-1-832 will be changed to given No. 2018-1-811~2018-1-832 since they were officially approved as toxic chemical substances in 2018.
