On 31 Oct 2016, South Korea’s National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) announced the updates of GHS Classification List by NIER Announcement No.2016-22. 13 substances (No. 2016-1-731~2016-1-743) announced as toxic chemical substances by MoE Announcement No.2016-178 on 7 Sep 2016 (CL news) were finally provided with official classification and labeling information, etc.
The classification and labeling information of the 13 toxic substances has been previously drafted and issued for public consultation by NIER Notice No.2016-283 on 21 Sep 2016. Compared to the draft version no changes were made.
