Taiwan Requires SDS Submission for 10 Priority Management Chemicals

On April 8, 2022, Taiwan’s Ministry of Labor (MoL) published a notice¹ to require handlers of ten priority management chemicals (including mixtures containing over 1% (w/w) of such chemicals) to submit Safety Data Sheet (SDS) as supplementary information through the online PRochem platform² before May 6, 2022.

According to Article 10 of the Regulations for Governing Designating and Handling of Priority Management Chemicals³, the central competent authority could require additional operation information on priority management chemicals from handling enterprises if it is deemed necessary for exposure assessment. MoL has notified the affected enterprises by email, including manufacturers, importers, suppliers, or employers handling the ten priority management chemicals below.
