On February 11, 2022, the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) issued NIER Announcement No.2022-10[1], making public the hazard evaluation results of 30 existing chemical substances (Given number as 2022-170~2022-199) that were registered and reviewed under K-REACH from January to March 2021. 28 of these substances are toxic.
In addition, the hazard properties and classification details of the 4 new substances previously assessed were updated after registration modification or data supplementation. Their given numbers are listed as 2020-032, 2020-034, 2020-041, 2020-050.
So far 4,910 chemical substances have been assessed under K-REACH, including
4,711 new substances (Given number 2015-1∼2015-101, 2016-1∼2016-1138, 2017-1∼2017-1238, 2018-1 ~2018-769, 2019-1~2019-949, 2020-1~2020-266,2021-1~2021-250); and
199 existing substances (Given number 2020-001~2020-050, 2021-051~2021-169, 2022-170~2022-199).
